FERSFIELD. Fenners Farmhouse, Bressingham Road: Fenners Fair, clown, entertainment, stalls, produce, barbecue, raffle, refreshments, 2-4pm.

FRESSINGFIELD. The Old Vicarage,Cratfield Road and the Fox and Goose green: Third Fressingfield Croquet Tournament, playing for the Fox and Goose Challenge Trophy, 9.30am-4.30pm £20 per player and guests including coffee, lunch and presentation tea, entries on 01379 586254; proceeds Marie Curie Cancer Care.

FUNDENHALL. The Grange: Fundenhall Dog and Pet Show and Fete, 14 classes for dog show 12 classes for pet show, stalls, games, pony rides, ferret racing, barbecue and more, gates 11am for dog show, fete 12-5pm free admission but donations welcome for church funds.

HINGHAM. Lincoln Hall: Hingham Gardening Club Autumn Flower Show and RHS Dig Together Day, exhibits, plant stall, raffle, refreshments, 2-5pm 50p/children free.

Methodist Church, Bond Street: Coffee shop with cakes, books, nearly new clothes, bric-a-brac, coffee and scones, 10am-12; for building improvement fund.

HOXNE. St Edmund's Hall: Hoxne Garden and Social Club annual Flower and Produce Show, various classes, including children's section, plants for sale, refreshments available, from 2pm 50p.

LANGMERE. Blacksmiths Cottage Nursery, Langmere Road: Specialist Plant Fair, range of specialist nurseries, lecture marquee with demonstrations, Gardeners Question Time with BBC Radio Norfolk's Ian Roofe and Naked Gardener Guy Barker, charity lecture in aid of East Anglia's Children's Hospices - No Work Gardening, given by Bob Flowerdew from 12-1pm £4, pond dipping, Raptor Trust, arts and craft stalls, local food producers and more, 10am-5pm £1.

OLD BUCKENHAM. Village Hall: Fete, stalls, games, face painting, entertainment, art exhibition, barbecue, refreshments, raffle, 2pm.

REDGRAVE. Redgrave and Lopham Fen: Suffolk Wildlife Photography Competition - exhibition of winning entries, 10am-5pm, entry by suggested donation of £1.

Church Green: Burston Strike School Rally, guest speakers - Luis Marron, Richard Howitt MEP, Tony Benn, Diana Holland and John Hegley, live music from Omar Puenete (salsa) and Red Flags (folk), Paso Malanga Carnival Band, children's fun area, food and beer tent, campaign and community stalls, 11am-4.30pm.

FORNCETT ST MARY. Forncett Industrial Steam Museum: Steam Up, giant steam engines running including the one used to open Tower Bridge, two huge beam engines and lots more, refreshments available, 11am-5pm £6/senior citizens £5/two children free with each paying adult.

GREAT ELLINGHAM. Recreation Centre: Great Ellingham Village Show, working police dog display, New Buckenham Silver Band, belly dancing, produce auction, pet show (2.30pm), art exhibition, face painting, Tae Kwon Do, fun football, stalls, tug of war and more, observatory open all day, gates 1.30pm, starts 2pm £1.50/accompanied children free.
