Busy time at the old Regal

The old Kalee12 projectors at Wymondham's former Regal Cinema are in for a busy time this weekend!

This evening and tomorrow evening at 7.30pm the local Ex-Services' Club, which owns the building, has teamed up with the Regal Experience Group to stage charity shows of the fun-filled Abba-inspired Mamma Mia!, while on Sunday there will be a screening of the perennial popular Holiday Inn, starring Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire, in aid of the Children's Society.

On Friday morning and afternoon there will be free screenings for pupils of Robert Kett and Browick Road schools of the recently released animated feature, Space Chimps. These shows are sponsored by the Ex-Services' Club and arranged by the Regal Experience Group and Hollywood Cinemas.

Tickets for Mamma Mia! and Holiday Inn can be obtained from Maureen Dodman (01953 605593), Michael Armstrong (01953 603246) or on the door. Tickets for Mamma Mia! are also available at the Ex-Services' Club.
