In addition to Hitchcock's acclaimed comedy-thriller North by Northwest, starring Cary Grant, and the documentary Summer on the Farm (1943), there will also be a short reel of adverts, mainly of Norwich businesses, which were shown on the screens of a city cinema in various decades of the second half of last century. Some of the concerns, like Stannards Bakery in Bedford Street and Walter Littles the gents outfitters of Magdalen Street, have long since gone.
Tickets for the show on Sunday (2.30pm) at the old Wymondham Regal (now Ex-Services Club) are available from Maureen Dodman (01953 605593) or Michael Armstrong (01953 603246) and at the Heritage Museum. Tickets are £4.50 (concs £3.50).
