A fund raising family fun day will be held just off Doe Lane (opposite Tall Trees Garden Centre) in Old Buckenham on Sunday between 1- 4.30pm.The Medieval Trust will be demonstrating several ancient skills including jousting, talhoffer (15th century sword play and martial arts), archery, apothecary, scrivener, sewing, bodger-type crafts, historical wood carving and children's have a go games.

The Medieval Trust will be demonstrating several ancient skills including jousting, talhoffer (15th century sword play and martial arts), archery, apothecary, scrivener, sewing, bodger-type crafts, historical wood carving and children's have a go games.

The South Norfolk Youth Symphonic Band will also be performing.

1st Old Buckenham Scouts will be providing a barbecue and Old Buckenham WI will be serving cream teas.

The event will raise funds for local charities and voluntary organisations including the South Norfolk Youth Symphonic Band, All Saints Church, Old Buckenham, 1st Old Buckenham Scouts Group, Old Buckenham WI and the Medieval Trust.

Entrance is by programme bought at the gate and cost £1 per person on foot or £5 per car. The programme includes a chance to win a week's free holiday in France.

All money raised will go to support local charities and voluntary groups.
