Little Ellingham's Vintage and Working weekend on the weekend of August 9 and 10 promises to be bigger than ever, featuring more 100 entries ranging from vintage tractors, cars and commercial vehicles to working horses.

Little Ellingham's Vintage and Working weekend on the weekend of August 9 and 10 promises to be bigger than ever, featuring more 100 entries ranging from vintage tractors, cars and commercial vehicles to working horses.

The organising committee has worked hard to make the event two days rather than one as before.

Spokesman Rory Holbrook said a road run would be held on the Saturday night starting at the show area in Rocklands Road and then going through North End, Shropham, Rocklands, Great Ellingham and Attleborough before returning to Little Ellingham. Those tak-ing part will be having a break at the Stag pub at about 6pm.

Also on offer are tombolas, a ploughing competition on the Sunday, a clay pigeon shoot and a children's colouring and activity area, plus a car boot sale and craft stands.

The event starts at 10am on the Saturday, and entry is £3 adults, £2 pensioners, £1 children and under-fives free. This year the event will supporting the East Anglian air ambulance and the schools at Rocklands and Great Ellingham.
