Travels in Antarctica, a photographic exhibition by Mike Rowell, takes place at Redgrave and Lopham Fen on March 1, 2, 8 and 9, from 10am to 4pm.
Mike, an enthusiastic amateur photographer, travelled 3,500 miles in the southern seas surrounding Antarctica in 2006 on an extraordinary Antarctica voyage.
His photographs - two of penguins are shown here - capture the beauty of the cold seas and its wildlife.
“Although the whole trip was spectacular, probably the most memorable experience was crossing the Antarctic Convergence between the Falklands and South Georgia, when in a single afternoon, almost 100 whales and dolphins were sighted, something even the captain had never seen before,” Mike said.
The exhibition is free but a donation would be much appreciated.
