Songs and arias by Schubert, Benjamin Britten, Handel, Mozart, Rimsky-Korsakov, Puccini and Donizetti will feature in the event which will raise funds for the church.
Elizabeth, who was brought up in the village, recently made her national proms debut, singing the lead soprano role in Vaughan-William's Symphony Antartica. She will be accompanied at Hethersett by top young pianist Alisdair Hogarth who has appeared regularly on the BBC and Radio Three and accompanied internationally known artists such as Katherine Jenkins and The Choirboys. Alisdair also appears as a pianist in the Martin Scorsese film Young Victoria and also in the Duchess which stars Keira Knightly.
Tickets for the Hethersett concert have been selling well, although there are still a handful available to be sold on a first come first served basis. Tickets can be booked by contacting Hethersett Methodist Church senior steward Anne Steward on 01603 811052
