KELLY Shorten and sister Danielle from Wymondham have just tasted success at the British Youth Water Ski Trials at South Lake, St Neots, Bedfordshire.
Kelly, 19, has held her title of overall U21 ladies' champion for the second year running, winning all three events, equalling her best score at slalom, jump and getting two personal bests at tricking.
She will be competing later this month for a place in the U21s Worlds held January in Peru.
Kelly is at present in her first year of a UEA sports coaching degree at Easton College.
Danielle, 16, competed in the U17s and came first in jump, second in tricks and overall silver. She will also be competing in Lincoln later this month for a place in the U17 at the European Championships and the U21s in Peru early next year.
Danielle jumped 31.6 metres (103 feet) at the weekend and this makes her now the furthest U21 female jumper so far this year.
Danielle is at present studying at Easton College on an Excellence and Performance Sports Diploma course, which is a course set up for students who compete for Great Britain at county level or above at their sport.
Danielle will be competing in Italy mid-June, where the European Championships will be held, together with dad Steven.
Both girls will continue through the summer training at Norwich Water Ski Club, Pentney Water Ski Club and also up and down the country training with British coaches.
