The team started poorly and were on the back foot most of the first half but experienced players Seaman, Hicks and Scent at the back and Scott in goal kept Swaffham out.

Young Lawson looked strong also in defence showing good potential. Some good passing spells and creativity from midfields Ducker and Drake saw Stone score his first of four well-taken goals.

Swaffham capitalised on two poorly conceded free-kicks but new signings Arundel and Herriman added to the score sheet.

Second-half substitutes Reeve and Chapman also looked promising.

Final score 6-2.
