MULBARTON Youth Cricket Club enjoyed a record turnout for their indoor training sessions at Norwich Girls School in April. High on the agenda this summer is girls' cricket, with the club competing in the first girls-only softball league competition in the county.

High on the agenda this summer is girls' cricket, with the club competing in the first girls-only softball league competition in the county.
Having again secured Kerry Holl, the Norfolk Ladies' captain, as lead coach, the club is keen to bolster membership of this new section.
Girls between the ages of seven and 15 are welcome to Saturday morning sessions in Mulbarton from 9.30-11am, with the first session free.
