WYMONDHAM rugby players added another piece of silverware to their growing trophy cabinet this season. The 2nd XV beat West Norfolk II 7-5 in a tightly contested plate final.
The hosts West Norfolk took a 5-0 lead, but Wymondham winger Alex Brugger's converted try in the second half proved to be the decisive score.
This means that the up and coming Norfolk club can now add the Eastern Counties 2nd XV Plate to the Woodforde's Norfolk Cup and Eastern Counties League One title that they have already claimed this season.
