In the Breckland League Connaught B had two heavy defeats.

At Banham Connaught B lost 47-103 and 0-10. J Hazell 10-23, R Ramm 15-24, A Marshall 14-23, J Barnes 8-33. At Wymondham the margin was worse, 31-125 and 0-10. A Rush 4-41, R Ramm 15-21, A Marshall 10-25, K Lurcock 2-38.

In the Tens League Connaught had two defeats and one win.

At Bob Carter Connaught lost 38-82 and 0-4. Pairs: J Barnes 7-21, R Oatway 8-18. Triples: Peter King 14-18, T Musk 9-25. Ty Musk's triple did have to play two against three from the start after the third Connaught player was unwell and withdrew.

At Watton a close contest saw Connaught lose 46-56 and 0-3. Pairs: W Adcock 11-14, T Musk 12-13. Triples: R Wells 7-11, R Oatway 16-18.

At Hempnall, after a tremendous match with the result in doubt until the last wood, Connaught won 54-53 and 2-0. Pairs: J Barnes 14-14, W Adcock 17-10. Triples: L Fallows 10-15, R Oatway 13-14.

In the perverse way of sport, Watton gained their first win in the Tens League while the talented Hempnall side are challenging for the league leadership.
