Connaught A lost 54-79 and 0-10 at close rivals Yaxham. S Bragg 10-17, T Musk 15-23, L Fallows 14-22, R Wells

15-17. Connaught's only consolations were that they did not play that badly and had good chances in all the matches. Even so, they could not match opponents who played very accurately and confidently.

Connaught B really got their act together in a Breckland League win by 94-41 and 8-2 at home to Harling Rec. A Marshall 34-5, C Taylor 28-9, R Gilmour 13-18, A Rush 19-9. Alan Marshall, Ron Maddern and Hazel Banks played very well in what was a huge win.

In the South Norfolk League Connaught beat Thurton at home by 64-53 and 7-3. J Barnes 20-10, S Bragg 14-10, G Wilcox 15-18, T Musk 15-15.

Connaught generally concentrated well against a solid Thurton side which had won its first four matches. Joanna Barnes skipped John Mitchell and Ken Lurcock to a particularly good win.
