A young golfing star from Norfolk is set to take on some of the world's best junior players at a major tournament in Scotland this summer.

More than 500 players from 30 countries will compete at the US Kids Golf European Championships in June - Europe's premier tournament to showcase the next generation of golfing superstars.

The Norfolk Golf Union will be represented by nine-year-old Megan Mann, from Deopham, who is competing in her third consecutive European Championship.

The Morley Primary School pupil, who is a member of Eaton Golf Club, came ninth in her age group at last year's tournament and will be looking to break into the top ten in 2010.
