Wymondham's newly-formed Ladies section took part in their first rugby competition recently when they attend the Lakenham-Hewett Adult Tag Tournament.
Coached by Lee Summers, the ladies have minimal experience in playing rugby but have shown boundless enthusiasm during the seven weeks that they have been together.
Of the squad there are a few who have played the 15-a-side game, Holly Crook, Emma Harris, Helen Foye and Suzanne Young and it is hoped that it will be the first of three or four competitions ahead of the Lionesses commencing the full 15-a-side game next season.
