ATTLEBOROUGH, again with a changed team, were knocked out of the Norfolk Senior Cup 2-1 by Hindringham.

This game turned out to be a carbon copy of the previous week's game, going down to 10 men, putting in a really disappointing performance for the first 70 minutes, then totally dominating the last 20.

Mark Whitmore netted but this was controversially deemed offside.

A lacklustre slow start gifted Hindringham a simple goal then matters were made much worse with Ramsbotham being shown a straight red card for a reckless challenge.

At half-time Boro changed their formation to 3-4-2 but Hindringham scored a second.

McKerrel was injured in the warm-up and stood down for the second half, Matty Wright was bought into the centre-half position. Nathan Lake then joined the injury list.

This gave the Boro management team the opportunity to introduce Dave Luckhurst to the game, the team changed completely with his calming influence and pin- point passes.

A superb pass by King gave MoM Dave Greenwood a scoring opportunity.

Then came a game-changing decision after a strike inside the area rebounded off a post to Whitmore who placed the ball past the Hindringham keeper - only for it to be ruled offside.

With more chances coming Boro's way it seemed the writing was on the wall. Wetteland replaced Appleton, who was soon causing panic in the penalty area, but to no avail. With the ref blowing the final whistle Boro were left to rue another 2-1 defeat.
