WYMONDHAM Judo Club hosted a junior competition at the weekend, attracting almost 70 competitors from six clubs. Bungay-based Black Dog club had the biggest contingent and came out top with nine gold medals, with host club Wymondham taking eight.

Bungay-based Black Dog club had the biggest contingent and came out top with nine gold medals, with host club Wymondham taking eight.
Wymondham coach Chris Claydon said it was a chance for inexperienced low graders to get a taste of friendly competition.
'Well done to everyone who took part. There was some really good judo.'
The competition was held at Ketts Park hall on Saturday and was a fund- raising event towards the cost of running the club minibus.
