The Wymondham youngster scored an impressive 19.82 one-dart average against Young in the final and is glad his hard work paid off.
'I train at least four or five times a week with the odd day off so it's far from easy, but I'm really pleased about the win, definitely,' said James. 'I was probably the local favourite and expected to win the event but it's good to do so all the same.'
