The 16-year-old won his match 2-1 against up-and-coming Warwickshire player James Young, and now hopes to build on the success and continue his progress.
The Wymondham youngster scored an impressive 19.82 one-dart average against Young in the final and is glad his hard work paid off.
'I train at least four or five times a week with the odd day off so it's far from easy, but I'm really pleased about the win, definitely,' said James. 'I was probably the local favourite and expected to win the event but it's good to do so all the same.'
James attends Easton College and is a public services student.
