SHOT putter Danny Nobbs has been selected for the upcoming IPC World Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand, in January next year.
This was off the back of some really encouraging performances by the Paralympian this year, and in particularly setting a new British record for the F54 category of 9.72m.
The Aviva GB and Northern Ireland team will be flying out to Auckland on January 4 for a two-week holding camp, before flying into Christchurch where the World Championships begin on January 21.
Danny said: 'I would like to thank Aviva for their continued support as without their backing this would be so much more difficult, and to Philip Dingle from Dingles BP for their ongoing sponsorship.
'I cant wait to get out to New Zealand and to pitch myself against the best in the world, in what will be the last major championships before the Olympic and Paralympic Games come to London in 2012.'
