Hethersett Hawks/Myhill Decorators were at Kesgrave in Suffolk for key South East and Eastern League matches.

The first team made sure of a play-off place win an 81-75 win spearheaded by Leigh Cossey and Dan Chambers, with Liam Webster making a valuable debut at substitute.

In the Division Two match the Hawks needed to win to keep their title chances alive. It was an even closer contest with the young Kesgrave defeating Hethersett 81-79. The inclusion of Webster boosted their chances but it was not quite enough, with the Hawks now needing two wins to seal runners-up place. Owen Wells and Glyn Morgan finished second in their categories at the South-East Grand Prix at East London.

Hethersett stage round five of the Norfolk Go-Ride series next Wednesday (7pm).
