Hethersett Hawks/Myhill Decorators member Glyn Morgan had a good day of veterans' racing at Eaton Park in Norwich.
He represented the Orchid Eurovets Select against the British Lions squad going to Australia in November.
He scored 11 points from four rides and also featured in the only Eurovets 7-3 win with Paul Timms. The Lions won 104-94.
Immediately afterwards, in horrendous conditions on a flooded track, he contested a Norfolk Veterans' Grand Prix in which he scored 17 points to finish joint fourth and picked up an award as the top over-50 rider outside the top three. The events were sponsored by About2bounce Inflatable Hire.
Morgan also won the Hethersett Veterans Club Championship in midweek with George Later winning the Under-13s.
Hethersett stage round seven of the South East Grand Prix series at the Memorial Playing Field on Saturday from noon.
