Norwich Stars cycle speedway rider Leigh Cossey, from Hethersett will be travelling Down Under next month as a member of the Great Britain senior team.
Norwich Stars cycle speedway rider Leigh Cossey, from Hethersett will be travelling Down Under next month as a member of the Great Britain senior team.
Cossey will be taking part in the Ashes Test match series against Australia and also against Poland in Adelaide. He is seeded to the World Individual Championship semi-final - a just reward for all the years of hard work and dedication to training.
Cossey, 24, has been involved in cycle speedway for 14 years, riding for Hethersett and then Norwich, and has won various awards at Under 16, Under 19, and senior levels. Cossey has also ridden in European Championships in Poland and all over the UK.
