NEWTON Flotman lost 1-0 to North Walsham Reserves.
The Horsemen put on a real showcase in terms of football and skill which had the home team on the ropes for 70 minutes and the away bench purring with pride.
Despite many chances, Flotman couldn't put the ball away and Walsham scored the only goal of the game with their first chance in the second half. MoM: Nick Appleton. In another game, Flotman were hammered 4-1 at home by a strengthened Mattishall Reserves side in the worst display of the season.
Injuries, unacceptable absences, hangovers and a lack of desire on the pitch were at fault.
