NEWTON Flotman were back to winning ways with a well-earned 3-0 win at Mattishall Reserves. A big reaction was needed after the bank holiday disappointments and Flotman were not disappointed.

A big reaction was needed after the bank holiday disappointments and Flotman were not disappointed. Three well-taken goals by Mark Appleton and some fantastic battling performances ensured the win.

Flotman played host to a hard-working Marlingford side and managed to sneak a 1-0 win thanks to a goal from Mark Appleton. With many regular players missing, those that played did themselves proud with their effort, determination and spirit that has become synonymous with this team.
