In the Men's EBA, South One, Connaught A won 60-59 and 4-1 at Dickleburgh after a very tense finish. P Castle 20-14, J Ross 25-20, W Adcock 15-25.

Dickleburgh seemed to have won 3-2 but a brilliant last wood against Jim Ross just toppled back; Connaught lay one by millimetres to secure the two points for overall shots.

In South Two, Connaught B lost by 49-64 and 1.5-3.5 at home to Diss B. K Lurcock 19-19, D Liles 18-17, R Gilmour 12-28.

In the Bales Cup Connaught beat Mattishall at home by 88-34. W Adcock's rink registered an amazing 48-3 win.

In the mixed rinks Jermy Cup Connaught won 84-27 at Ashill, with J Ross winning by 35-2.

In the Ashill Mixed Triples League, Division One, Connaught B lost by 45-63 and 2-6 at Swaffham A. In Division Two Connaught D lost by 47-59 and 2-6 at Northwold.

In Division Four Connaught C won by 60-41 and 8-0 at home to Wicklewood.

In the county championships J Ross/O Allen and J Winup/M Parsons lost third round men's pairs matches at home to Thetford opponents. A ladies' triple skipped by Sheila Bragg lost at Diss.
