There was some good bowling and presentations were made.

Connaught Men's A beat Norfolk BC B at home in South One by 3-2 after drawing 58-58 on shots.

The team then lost away in the Bales Cup to a good Hingham side and at home in the national Top Club competition to the strong Wymondham Dell side.

In the Top Club, Peter Hambling (two-wood singles) just lost to Peter Harlow's last wood in an exciting match.

Connaught Ladies continued winning ways with victory in the Breckland League, 71-33 and 8-0 away to Ashill.

In the Ashill Mixed Triples League Connaught A drew with Connaught B in a Division One derby match.

Connaught D, in Division Two, and Connaught C, in Division Four, both had maximum points wins.

In the national Champion of Champions Sylvia Parsons beat Margaret Johnson at Diss. Sheila Bragg skipped a winning four at Diss in the County Rinks. There were other wins for lady players in the Unbadged Pairs and the National Over-55 Pairs.
