New Buckenham Cricket Club have quashed rumours that the club may be unable to fulfil their fixtures next season and have announced dates for their pre-season training.
Club secretary Tony Lister said: 'Rumours have been circulating that New Buckenham will not be able to fulfil their fixtures this season. This is not the case. We have paid our dues, bought the balls and will play the games.'
New Buckenham, who play in the Lucas Fettes Norfolk League, are holding indoor nets at UEA Sportspark on Mondays from March 1 to April 26, 9pm to 10.20pm and would welcome new players.
Lister added: 'We may not have the facilities of the larger clubs but we do have a very picturesque ground and are a very friendly club. We also have a new play area for toddlers and children, with hostelries close at hand.'
