Connaught Bowls Club, Attleborough, made an excellent start in the first leg of the final of the short mat Norwich Cup.
Connaught A played Coltishall at home in the first leg and won nine of the 12x6 ends matches to take a points lead of 18-6 (shots 80-52) into the second leg at Coltishall next week.
Connaught A need just seven points in the away leg to win the cup, but will realise that there are small margins in this form of the game; nothing is being taken for granted.
