A rink from Connaught Ladies (S Bragg, S Parsons, V Moore and D Adcock) had the winning score at the Norfolk Ladies “Open Day,” held at Norfolk BC and supported by 48 clubs.
The coming week is one of practice for all the club sides and of some matches for individuals entered in national or county competitions.
On Saturday, May 3 (10am registration), the club starts its two-hour coaching sessions for new club members and for members of the public.
The sessions will continue for the following three Saturdays (May 10, 17 and 24). There is no charge and bowls will be provided. Informal dress only need be worn, such as tracksuits. However, to protect the green, soft flat-soled shoes such as light trainers must be worn.
