Former England bowler Derek Underwood visited Wymondham College yesterday to officially open the new cricket nets at the school.
Underwood, who is President Elect of the MCC, also watched a first XI game in the afternoon.
The Director of Sport, Carl Jones, said earlier in the week: “We are delighted to have this brand new facility which will really help our cricketers to improve their performance.”
He added that having Underwood there was “the icing on the cake”.
