Families face nine weeks of disruption as pavement works completed

Families face nine weeks of disruption as work is completed to improve the condition of a town’s pavements.

Sections of the road along Ketts Avenue, Wymondham, will be closed from Monday, July 15, moving as work is completed along the length of the road.

Norfolk County Council says this will ensure access will be maintained to all the cul-de-sacs linked to Ketts Avenue including Ketts Close, Marion Close and Rustens Manor Road.

A signed diversion route will be in place for the duration of works.

It has been scheduled to be carried out during the school holidays to limit disruption to the schools and associated traffic.

The work, costing £80,000, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council's community and environmental services department and its contractors.
