Filmgoers are being offered the chance to take a step back in time and experience the silent movie days of yesteryear.
On Sunday, June 24, Wymondham Music Festival in association by the Regal Experience Group will put on a screening of not one but two silent movie classics in the Wymondham Ex-Services Club Regal Cinema.
The 1916 films, Charlie Chaplin's The Pawn Shop and Our Hospitality featuring Buster Keaton, will be accompanied by live piano improvisation from Bruce Vogt, who will also give a talk on music and the silent clowns.
Before and after the showing there will be a display of memorabilia relating to silent film stars, including some rarities direct from Hollywood.
The screenings will start at 2.30pm, tickets are available from Puffs Toy Shop, Simply Cards, www.wymfest.org.uk or on the door and are £4 for adults and £2 for under-18s.
