Hundreds of rubber ducks took the water over the bank holiday weekend for the annual Wymondham Abbey duck race.
Enjoying record-breaking temperatures and sunny skies, on Monday, May 7, a large crowed gathered along the banks of the river Tiffey in Wymondham to place their bets and watch a raft of brightly coloured rubber ducks make their way down stream.
An annual tradition, the event was been postponed from the Easter weekend following heavy rain which proved to make conditions too wet, even for ducks.
Following the success of last year's event, the duck race also coincided with the Wymondham Abbey Spring Fair.
Where in between the duck racing visitors were able to support locals artists and crafts people by browsing more than 25 stalls selling everything from silversmith work to illustration and textiles.
Wymondham Abbey holds a number of events throughout the year, the next taking being an organ recital and coffee morning on May 19.
