Witnesses are being sought to a road traffic collision yesterday on the A11 at Besthorpe in which a car was forced off the road. The accident happened at midday on the Norwich-bound carriageway when a silver people carrier joined the A11 at Besthorpe and narrowly missed colliding with a red Renault Clio.

The accident happened at midday on the Norwich-bound carriageway when a silver people carrier joined the A11 at Besthorpe and narrowly missed colliding with a red Renault Clio.
A silver Honda Prelude was forced off the road and collided with bushes at the side of the road. The occupants of the vehicle were not seriously injured.
A police spokesman said the driver of the people carrier did not stop and may have been unaware of the accident.
