A community of villages shortly to become Norfolk's first community council is celebrating a successful summer of trouble shooting.
Residents of Spooner Row, Suton and Wattlefield, negotiated three infrastructure projects with minimal disruption.
This summer has seen 14 metres of new footpath installed on Station Road, a new crossing at the school gate, a new roadside drain, and wooden posts introduced to stop motorists parking on the pavement.
Residents experienced an increase in the number of power blackouts, so UK Power Networks proposed a new transformer on Station Road through another road closure.
Spooner Row resident Robert Foster said: 'A little local persuasion saw UKPN bring forward their works to coincide with the drainage scheme and further disruption was avoided. Three projects were undertaken on a busy thoroughfare and only one road closure.'
