Jessica Russell-Hill won the voucher and a book, which aims to educate children about the house building process, at Robert Kett Primary School on Friday, April 20.

Residential developers Taylor Wimpey East Anglia held the competition for year two pupils to celebrate World Book Day on March 1, in which the children had to design the company’s mascot characters, Millie Mortar and Handy Andy, a new home.

The runners up, Kimberly Tang, Mabel Bulcock and Ella Branson, were also gifted a Taylor Wimpey book.

Alison Clarke, headteacher at Robert Kett Primary School said: “I would like to say a big thank you to Taylor Wimpey on behalf of everyone at our school.”

She added: “Books are a great way to fire up a child’s imagination and to teach them about the world around them.”
