A public meeting is being held to discuss the imminent South Norfolk Council cabinet report on gipsy and traveller sites.

The meeting is being held in Wymondham Central Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday.

Council leader John Fuller said that while cabinet meets to discuss the proposals on December 1, the cabinet report would be published from noon today .

He said: “I hope people will be able to read it on our website or download it for themselves before coming to that public meeting.

“We are doing this because South Norfolk Council cabinet meetings, are held during working hours. We know it is difficult for people, in the run up to Christmas, to take time off just to come to Long Stratton for a meeting. So we are coming to the community.

“I want to hear what people have to say, and will report that back to cabinet.”
