An Attleborough care home has been shortlisted for a regional housing award.The Oak Trees home has made the regional final of the National Housing Federation's What We Are Proud Of Awards 2010 for its work in helping people with learning difficulties to live independently.
An Attleborough care home has been shortlisted for a regional housing award.
The Oak Trees home has made the regional final of the National Housing Federation's What We Are Proud Of Awards 2010 for its work in helping people with learning difficulties to live independently.
The Attleborough project is owned and run by affordable homes provider Flagship Peddars Way to assist residents and guests with learning difficulties. The winning housing association on July 1 will go to the national final.
David Seaton, Flagship Peddars Way's managing director said: 'I hope we can highlight, through our shortlisting, the many skills people with learning disabilities achieve through support and encouragement. Oak Trees really is a scheme to be proud of.'
