Peasants are needed by Attleborough Players for their latest production this summer.

The amateur drama group will be performing the stage show 'Allo Allo', based on the popular BBC TV wartime comedy series set in occupied France, and chairman Graham Smith has put out a call for new recruits.

“We need some extras to play peasants in the café scene and a German soldier. Rehearsals have started at 7.30pm on Thursday evenings, and there will also be some on Sundays, and we need people as soon as possible,” he explained.

Mr Smith said the players are going from strength to strength. They will be putting on a cabaret in October and a pantomime early next year, and are always keen to attract more members.

People can find out more by calling him on 01953 453107, or giving one of the Thursday rehearsals a look. The show will be staged at the hall on July 3, 4 and 5.
