Wymondham Learning Centre is holding an open morning to show how adults can enrol on vocational and academic courses.

The event will take place at the centre near the Norwich Road entrance of Wymondham High School from 10am to midday on January 11.

The centre is run by a charity called the Wymondham Learning Initiative and is based in its own building in the grounds of Wymondham High School.

It focuses on computer-based learning but also provides other short courses, some of which are free.

There will also be information about learning events in Wymondham, Attleborough and the surrounding area, showing how easily complete beginners can take the first steps in using computers.

Duty manager Louise Pegler will be there to greet visitors, she said, 'this is an ideal way to find out how easy it is to get back into learning.'

'Many adults put all that behind them years ago, but it's never too late to pick up some new skills.'

'Our business is to help people do this at any time in their lives. And it's not just about computers - we can point you towards all kinds of other courses as well.'
