Wymondham's Abbey Kindergarten pre-school is celebrating two important milestone this week.

It has retained its Investors In People award and has received positive comments in an Ofsted report.

The inspector said children's creative development was very well fostered and made specific mention of the playgroup's '…recently improved outside play area.', which now benefits from a new play surface where the children can burn off their energy on a wide range of ride-on toys.

Abbey's extensive indoor space, for which it is renowned, was also praised “The adults work hard to transform the large hall into a child-centered environment…'.

Abbey Kindergarten pre-school in Ketts Park Recreation Centre in Harts Farm Road is open Monday - Friday 9.15am - noon to all children of pre-school age from two-and-a-half years.

The Kindergarten pre-school urgently needs a container to store its playgroup's equipment and supplies.

Anyone who has a container to spare can contact Jacqui Janion on 07941284143.
