A Norfolk-made product will feature in an ITV series celebrating British manufacturing, which will air next week.

Britannia Fire, which is currently having its extinguishers installed at the likes of Heathrow Airport,
will appear alongside brands such as Barbour and Stilton cheese on ITV4’s Made in Britain.

A production crew spent a day at Britannia fire’s Ashwellthorpe factory filming the manufacturing process of the extinguisher.

Sales director Andy Spence said: “At Britannia Fire, our manufacturing and exports are thriving. We are building a global distributor network for our P50 extinguisher and to be alongside such household names is a huge honour for us and demonstrates the quality and trust in our product.”

He said the company was enjoying “substantial year-on-year growth”.

Made in Britain, a three-part series, is on ITV4 from October 9 at 8pm.
