A new play area, costing about £115,000, is up and running in Wymondham.
The new playscape at Kett’s Park was officially opened by town mayor Joe Mooney and councillor Lee Hornby yesterday morning.
It was agreed at a council meeting in May last year, along with another scheme at King’s Head Meadow costing £75,000, which was finished late last year.
Mr Mooney said: “I am absolutely delighted to hear that the new Play Scape area at Ketts Park is now open.
“The new pieces of equipment look fantastic and I am sure that local children will love using them” Well done to the Town Council for funding this much needed new play facility.”
