HETHERSETT Methodist Church will remember the past and look to the future at its Operation New Look Vision Day this Saturday.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Operation New Look, which transformed the previous antiquated chapel into today's modern church.

Over the next 18 months the church will celebrate the past and be preparing for the challenges of the future.

“Saturday will be a day when we spend time looking back at where we have come from and appreciating the people and the events that have shaped the church into what it is today. We will also spend time looking at where we might move next as we move on,” said the Rev Derek Grimshaw.

A memory book will be available for people to write down reminiscences, plus memories of people involved with the church over the past 25 years. There will be a book for ideas for the future, too.

The Vision Day runs from 10am until 2pm.
