Police are appealing for witnesses to a disturbance in Wymondham town centre that saw two men arrested on suspicion of affray after teenage girls were threatened.

Three teenage girls were verbally threatened and chased during the incident that happened on Wednesday, October 2, between 8.45pm and 9pm in Market Place.

It is understood members of the public intervened before police arrived and suspects left the scene. No one was injured during the disturbance.

Police investigations led officers to arrest two men, aged 28 and 29. Both were questioned at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre and released on bail until October 22 while enquiries continue.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning it.
