Wymondham-based company Livewire are looking for young people to join them for their forthcoming production of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance.
Susan Booth, artistic director, is keen to involve children in music from an early age, and came up with the idea of involving youngsters in their production this year.
'We'd like to hear from anyone who would like to sing and perform on stage,' she said. 'So if you'd like to be a policeman, pirate or young maid then get in touch.'
The company will be performing Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance from June 26 to July 18. The idea is to have two teams of youngsters and each team will only be required to perform one evening each week.
Auditions will be held in Norwich on Saturday, March 14. For further details call 01953 851543 or e-mail post@livewireoperacompany.co.uk
