MORE than 20 Cubs from the 1st Old Buckenham pack attended the county Cub camp at the Norfolk Showground.

Ellie Martin achieved her Silver Scout award, which is the highest award for a Cub Scout.

It means Ellie has successfully achieved all her challenge badges, and she was awarded her Personal Challenge badge for giving outstanding care to the new eight-year-old Cubs who had just moved up from Beavers.

Activities at the camp ranged from climbing and archery, shooting, go-karts, water fights, circus skills and inflatables. The Old Buckenham Cubs represented the Bahamas and made banners, masks and costumes out of crepe paper in blue and yellow, the colours of the national flag.

And, although still tired after their exciting activities, they took part in the village litter pick back home.
