A badminton club is looking to recruit more female players into its coaching programme.
Hethersett Badminton Club has been in existence since the early 1980s.
The junior coaching programme was set up in 2012 and there are currently around 50 boys and girls being coached over two separate sessions on Thursday evenings at Hethersett Academy and Hethersett Old Hall School.
A Badminton England Premier Club, the club gained Clubmark accreditation two years ago and enjoys the assistance of three registered Badminton England level two coaches and two level one coaches.
To encourage more players to join the club, taster sessions are being held on Saturdays from 10am to 11am in Hethersett Academy sports hall and will continue until Easter.
All equipment is provided but it is asked that a parent/guardian attends throughout.
Enthusiastic youngsters who are looking to continue after these taster sessions will then be introduced, as space allows, to the normal junior session at the Academy on Thursday evenings from 6pm until 7.15pm.
