Emergency services have been called out to reports of a person in the water by Great Yarmouth's Haven Bridge.

The call was reported to the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service at 10.49pm and according to an eye witness the ambulance service was sent as well.

The call-out turned out to be a false alarm.

A statement from the fire service said: 'Crews from Great Yarmouth were mobilised to reports of a person in water near Haven Bridge. This was a false alarm.'
