A man was rescued this morning after his van became stuck while attempting to drive through a river ford crossing.
Police, fire and ambulance services were called to Shotesham just before 8am after the driver got into difficulty.
The Urban Search and Rescue team were called to the scene and the man was returned safely to dry land.
Norfolk and Suffolk Roads policing warned drivers not to risk going through fords as this puts a strain on valuable resources.
After a driver became trapped in the same spot in January South Norfolk Police tweeted: 'Fords often have hidden sharp drops which cannot be seen under this amount of water along with currents and other unknown dangers! Do not risk it!'
